You will also obtain good high page rank backlinks from top page ranking article directories such as Ezine articles who will not accept previously published articles.

You will generally find that the more restrictive a particular source is in terms of what it will publish, the more effective in terms of link juice and influence that directory or blogging platform will provide to your site.
