On the subject of Domain names, My website built almost 10 years ago was registered to the builder of the site at the time, it is due for renewal early 2010, I am anxious to have it registered to me for the future, should I expect confrontation when I request this from the current owner of my domain name ?? and what should I do to avoid confrontation and successfully register and therefore own and my domain name?

Many thanks
